About

I am Chris Leon and believe me, I’m just as surprised as you are that there are so many fake Chris Leon’s out there. I’m an IT professional in the Kansas City area and on June 10th, 2008 the National Weather Service extended their warning to wordpress.com that this is my blog and that it would persist on the interwebs and accumulate along rural county roads. Most of the time I write about relevant aspects of my journey through the IT world. Other times I pretend I’m not a nerd and write about stuff even fewer people care about.

I am a member of the Kansas City IT Leadership Forum, the Agile Alliance, a certified ScrumMaster, a certified Scrum Product Owner, conference speaker, and I have diverse experience with software development and consulting. As a strong proponent of agile engineering and project management techniques, I’ve led the implementation of self-managing, cross-functional teams, as well as the adoption of software development patterns and best practices. I enjoy learning about and discussing agile software development from other members of the KC development community. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and beedly-beedly-beeping up on the tiny strings of my guitar.

Please like my blog, and please do not drive your vehicle into areas of it where water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.

Thank you for reading this and please enjoy the content.
